Ezee uses the Philips watermarking technology, CompoTrack WAV, from Media Science International (MSI). Watermarking is a vital tool in the management of a secure audio distribution system for any organization. Whenever a pirated song is found on the Internet, the MSI software can determine from where the leak has occurred and identify the person who made the first illegal copy. Moreover, the digital delivery of newly released songs to radio stations can be secured by adding a unique watermark to each distributed song.
